Description
Canadian Club Imported 1979 is a vintage Canadian Whisky, produced by Hiram Walker. The whisky aged for 6 years and is bottled at 40% ABV. In 1858, American entrepreneur Hiram Walker founded a distillery in Detroit. When the Prohibition movement started growing in the United States, he moved across the river to Windsor, Ontario. Hiram Walker's whisky was initially sold exclusively in gentlemen's clubs, earning it the simple name 'Club'. The whisky became so popular in the United States that it started to affect the sales of bourbon.
