Description

This unusually non-peated Caol Ila was aged for 11 years, and released in 2024 as part of Diageo's annual Special Release. It is part of the extensive Scotch whisky holdings of Diageo who, in addition to marketing its peated single malt, have also assigned it as one of the four regional brands home of the Johnnie Walker blends. Crafted with short fermentations and cloudy worts, this limited whisky offers an indulgent mouthfeel, rich with nutty character and complemented by vibrant notes of green apple and spice. Matured in a combination of refill and rejuvenated wine casks made from both American and European oak.
