Bartels Whisky is a UK-based, family-run independent bottler that specializes in single-cask, cask-strength, natural-color bottlings for its in-house 'Highland Laird' label. This Caol Ila was distilled in 2014 and matured for 11 years in a first-fill bourbon hogshead, bottled at its natural cask strength of 53.9% ABV. It is offered without chill-filtration or artificial coloring, capturing the essence of Islay with a balance of peat smoke and maritime character alongside vanilla and citrus notes. Only 217 bottles were produced from cask no. 313929.
