- Nose
- Light, peaty smoke typical of Islay, accompanied by dried fruits (raisins, figs), sherry notes, vanilla, and a hint of ash. Rich, deep with dark chocolate, dried apricots, iris concentrate, roasted mango, toasted walnuts and coffee, enveloped in ash, soil, tar, coal and incense lifted by a sea breeze.
- Palate
- Powerful and warming, with peat mingling with spices (cinnamon, clove), caramel, and dried fruits. Rich and creamy texture with great depth. Clean, elegant, with a burst of oily peat and smooth, creamy chocolate, maritime, sea salt notes, hints of praline, apricot and bacon, and nuances of medicinal and truffle.
- Finish
- Long and persistent, with the smoke gradually softening, leaving echoes of dried fruits, spices, and a subtle ashy bitterness. Dense, concentrated, evolving into chocolate, camphor and vegetal notes. Mineral (slate, charcoal) and charred (crème brûlée, warm ashes), with lingering sandalwood, prune, blood orange and incense.
