Description

Port Askaig 100° Proof is a harmonious marriage of casks, young and old, creating a balance of sweet fruit and dark smoke, typical of the finest Islay whiskies. As there is no distillery called Port Askaig, the brand is named after the ancient ferry port and fishing harbour on the east coast of Islay, overlooking the Sound of Islay. This is an independent bottling by Speciality Drinks Ltd. (part of Elixir Distillers), widely believed to be sourced from the Caol Ila distillery. It is non-chill filtered and has natural color.
