Nose
Delicate wisps of peat smoke, honey-cured meats, vanilla pods, fruitcake with nuts, raisins, sultanas, menthol, zesty citrus, aromatic lemongrass. Also notes of coal smoke, brine, machine oil, herbal notes, and sea salt brininess.
Palate
Refined with subtle warming spice, raspberry, cranberry, sweet baked apple, thick cut Seville orange marmalade, gentle Sherry influences, and mature oak notes adding a slightly drying character. Also notes of dark berries, bitter orange, and sea salt.
Finish
Lingering with smouldering bonfire embers, lemon zest, charred oak, spicy peppers, sweet honey, and fresh mint. Long and slightly smoky, overtly oaky, with black pepper notes.
