Description

Established as Speciality Drinks in 1999, Elixir Distillers was set up by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh who are also known for founding the online spirits retail site the Whisky Exchange. The independent bottlers have several ranges including the Single Malts of Scotland, Elements of Islay, and Port Askaig. The Single Malts of Scotland range consists of independent bottlings of vintage single malts. This particular expression is a 2011 Caol Ila, matured for a decade in a batch of four ex-sherry butts and bottled in 2021 as part of the Reserve Casks series.

Sticky caramel sauce, saltwater taffy, sugar-coated hazelnuts, ashy smoke, peppermint tea, blossom honey, plum jam, black olives, peat smoke, licorice, and sea salt.
