Nose
Peaty and medicinal with rich fruit, honey sweetness, malt, and hints of smoked cashews and almonds. Red grapes, raisins, spice, and mulled wine notes are also present.
Palate
Full-bodied, sweet, and malty, quickly followed by intense peat smoke and clean, crisp flavors. Notes of beef jerky, malt extract, black and white pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, sour oak wood, toffee, and a pronounced 'big, full, yellow and ripe grape' sweetness from the Moscatel finish.
Finish
Long, spiced, tarry or sooty peat smoke, drying, with dark chocolate, raisins, liquorice, and a warm embrace of grapevines.
