Nose
An almost soapy, floral start with green fruit (kiwi and gooseberry) behind the aromatic and sooty peat smoke. Hints of singed herbs, lemongrass and salty sea air mixed with a fragrant/perfumed note.
Palate
Tart green fruit, cream soda pop, lime marmalade on a waxy, soapy body with peppery, sooty smoke. Some notes of pickle juice or seaweed in brine and late capsicum pepper heat.
Finish
Singed herbs and creamy Greek yoghurt, waxy lime, anise, green peppers and classic oily/floral Caol Ila peat smoke. Even a hint of salted celery stick in here too.
