Nose
The opening is dominated by an intense wave of smoky peat, reminiscent of campfires and burnt wood, with coastal nuances of brine and dried seaweed. Notes of dried fruit, burnt caramel, cherry compote, vanilla, green apple, and citrus emerge.
Palate
Full-bodied and intense, with rich peat smoke, dark chocolate, dried fruits, and warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Cherry compote, red fruits, toasted wood, and an elegant balance of wood spice and sweetness are present.
Finish
Long and persistent, with smoke gradually fading to a dry finish. Notes of dried fruit, bitter chocolate, a light lemony touch, toffee, oak, and a salty maritime hint.
