Nose
Mellow, with light prickle, fresh juicy fruits like green apple, green grape, pineapple, lemon peel, and a faintly mossy base. Hints of new wood, crème brûlée, vanilla, quince, pear skin, and sometimes peanuts.
Palate
Creamy-smooth texture, sweet then juicy, with buttery richness. Flavours of golden syrup, stewed apple, nutmeg, sweet oak, light citrus, gentle toasted spice, fondant, toasted hot-cross buns, roasted peanuts, almonds, and oat cookies.
Finish
Quite long, spicy, with lingering warmth and white pepper. Mid-long and slightly dry, with honey, vanilla custard, limoncello sorbet, and chilli pepper.
