Description

The Reid Single Malt Vodka is a craft vodka distilled from 100% malted barley at New Zealand's Cardrona Distillery. It is made with Cardrona Alpine Water and distiller's yeast, undergoing a long fermentation of over 70 hours. The spirit is distilled using a hybrid approach of traditional copper pot stills and German column stills. Critically, it is neither chill-filtered nor charcoal-filtered, preserving its full spectrum of texture and flavor. This approach results in a decadently rich and characterful spirit, offering a depth rarely encountered in the vodka category.

Nose
Delicately nuanced, opening with pear drops and lemon before revealing layers of toffee and malt biscuits. Subtle notes of fresh pear, vanilla, and a whisper of almond.
Palate
Lemon drops arrive with a tart sweetness. Shifts toward baked apple and pear, with notes of toasted grain. Smooth and creamy texture with layers of soft malt sweetness and bracing white-pepper sparks.
Finish
Medium-long and warming, with lingering vanilla and a gentle spice that fades into clean malt. Clean, crisp, and elegantly long-lasting.
