Description

Chichibu Paris Edition 2024 is a limited-edition Japanese single malt whisky from Chichibu, bottled for the highly anticipated annual Paris Edition in collaboration with La Maison du Whisky. It matured for six to seven years in a unique combination of 12 ex-bourbon barrels, two small Chibidaru quarter casks and one ex-red wine cask. The result is an elegant and captivating single malt with subtle peat notes, fresh fruitiness and spicy hints. The 2024 edition features six different labels printed on traditional Japanese paper, paying tribute to Parisian architecture.

delicate and harmonious. Elegant peat blends with scents of white fruits such as pear and apple, nuances of aromatic plants such as sage and tarragon, complemented by touches of green almond. Vanilla and herbaceous notes, reminiscent of freshly cut hay.
Palate
lively and harmonious. Dominated by oily peat, followed by green notes evoking a field of barley. Lemony and fruity flavors, notably Williams pear, as well as refreshing touches of menthol. Exotic notes, such as pineapple and green banana.
Finish
long and subtle, perfect fusion of aromas perceived on the nose and palate, reminiscent of a lime and basil tart. Evolves into flavors of barley sugar, agave honey and coconut milk, deliciously coating the palate. Peat takes on accents of licorice and chocolate.
