Description

This member of the Chivas Regal line-up has been matured for thirteen years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, which helps to magnify the sweet, rich notes characteristic of the blend. Almonds, cinnamon and sweet pear are all abundant.

Stewed orchard fruit and sherried dried fruit, with polished oak and caramelised nuts; sweet ripe pears, vanilla fudge, and soft sherry notes; vanilla caramel notes.
Palate
Vanilla fudge, pear and blackberry crumble and lots of baking spice, along with frangipane and toffee apple; creamy and full-bodied with flavors of honey, cinnamon, raisins, and a touch of nutty oak; sweet ripe pears in syrup, cinnamon sweets and crisp almonds.
Finish
A pinch of tobacco on a dry and sweetly spiced finish; long and warming with hints of dried fruit and gentle spice; rich and intense.
