Description

Chivas Regal Mizunara Special Edition is a unique blended Scotch whisky, the world's first to be selectively finished in Japanese Mizunara oak casks. This expression was created by Master Blender Colin Scott, inspired by a trip to Japan, and was originally launched in October 2014 for the Japanese market before expanding globally. It combines carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, with a portion undergoing secondary maturation in rare Mizunara oak, known for imparting distinctive aromatic notes like sandalwood and incense. The result is a refined and contemporary whisky, offering a smooth and rich profile with a touch of spice. It has received multiple awards, including Gold at the International Spirits Challenge in 2020, 2022, and 2023.
