- Overripe tropical fruits such as apricot, papaya, and honeydew melon, with a hint of cinnamon. Rich honey, ripe orchard fruit, vanilla, soft spice, elegant oak, fruit and nut, black cherry, olde english marmalade, peat, moss/fern, dried peels, black banana, caramel, and some smoke. Sugary caramel and vanilla, with nuttiness (almonds) and sherry influence.
- Palate
- Fruity sweetness, sugar candy and honey notes, mingled with Christmas spices. Prunes, cocoa, vanilla, malt, and clear oak tones. Smooth and rounded, showing caramel, dried fruit, balanced spice with a creamy texture. Dark sugars, vanilla, nuttiness, and a little bit of cinnamon, like a Christmas cake. Thick feel and a broad mid-palate.
- Finish
- Warmth and an exceptionally long duration. Syrup-like, evoking caramel sweets and liquid, heated honey. Subtle hints of orange peel, sage, and anise. Cinnamon pop rocks, sweet cinnamon, and a flavorful herbal mouthfeel. Nutty and long. Lingering sweetness and refined oak warmth. Medium length, with more spices at the end.
