- Palate
- Smoothly oily, lightly waxy and tooth-coating. Sweet and apple-fruity, then drying and chilli-pepper spicy. Toffee apple with burnt edges. Lemon, salt, acridness, soot, wax, earth, cider apples, roots. Honey wax, dry spices with ginger skin and cinnamon dust. Butterscotch oil, goji berries, strawberries, milk chocolate. Liquorice, nutmeg, stewed red berries, candy apple, dark chocolate, ginger.
- Finish
- Good length, spicy kick, mouth-cooling aftertaste with warming Szechuan pepper-spice. Sweeter and salty with water. Long, tense, leaving roots, salt, and earth. Figs with honey, wood spices. Sweet peaches, pithy oak, plums, raisins.
