Nose
Mellow and drying, with notes of grapefruit, light oiliness, toffee, and a faint hint of fragrant smoke. Hints of honeyed fruits, vanilla, and coastal brine.
Palate
Smoothly oily and waxy, starting sweet with apple-fruity notes, then drying and chilli-pepper spicy, like a toffee apple with burnt edges. Creamy toffee, orchard fruits, delicate spices, and sea salt.
Finish
Good length, with a spicy kick and a mouth-cooling, warming Szechuan pepper-spice aftertaste. Lingering citrusy notes, spice, and gentle oak.
