Nose
Inviting aromas of honey, vanilla, and a hint of citrus, accompanied by a subtle spice. Ripe tropical fruits, candied citrus zest, and fine wax polish, with light oak, vanilla cream, and a hint of dried hay. Warm and immersive waxy notes, paraffin, beeswax, ripe pineapple, mango candy, stewed quinces and pears, sweet mint, dried wildflowers, generous vanilla cake, hints of sweet Pinot Gris and star anise, and lovely polished oak.
Palate
Full-bodied and balanced with notes of ripe apples, caramel, and a light oak spice. Mild and multi-faceted with grilled pineapple, toffee, and waxy malt. Subtle oak spice and dry herbs. Fruity with apricots, sweet citrus, pineapple, a subtle resinous edge, drops of orange blossom water, more beeswax, pollen, acacia honey, and mild oak spice like candied ginger.
Finish
Long-lasting and warm, with a fine sweetness. Long and balanced with grapefruit, toasted wood, and a hint of almond oil. Dry, noble, and clean. A nice combination of faded fruits, mild spicy notes, and just a touch of cocoa.
