- Nose
- A soft opening with semolina porridge, butter cookies, vanilla powder, mango bites, and dried apple rings. Something velvety, peach peel and chamomile blossom. Elegant but also somewhat sticky and highly salivating. Fried banana and BBQ pineapple, with a hint of smoked almond growing. Vanilla, caramel, almonds, and malt all carry a slightly sweet profile. A slight damp and earthy quality. Banana and toffee mingle with soft, savoury barbecue smokiness and hints of rum and raspberry.
- Palate
- Wealth of tongue-pleasing flavors cuddled up in an harmonious embrace. Milky spirit focuses on pudding, pastry, chocolate, and creme – enriched with tropical fruits. A pinch of salt, followed by orange liquor. Savoury BBQ smoke again, with vanilla and red berry sweetness for balance. Oak, almonds, malt and a dull caramel. Some oak spice builds. Soft and oily palate of almond and vanilla before a curiously delicious flavour of burnt pine cones develops.
- Finish
- Mid-long. Initial rush of jellied lemons, grapes, peach juice, and vanilla sauce fades; notes of zest, pear, oak, and toffee remain. Tiny puff of oily and greasy smoke. Forest floor, honey, orange peel. Earthy malt shows up immediately along with caramel and some oak. Lingering spice and subtle smoky malt flavors. A touch of acidity.
