Description

Introduced in 2014, Compass Box Great King Street Glasgow Blend is a full-bodied blended Scotch whisky. It is made with a high proportion of malt whisky (around 65-67%) from the Highlands, Speyside, and Islay, combined with Lowland grain whisky. It is aged in a combination of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon barrels, first-fill Sherry casks, and a small portion finished in new French oak. The whisky is known for its rich, smoky, and peaty character, with notes of baking spices and dried fruit. It is bottled at 43% ABV, natural color, and non-chill filtered.
