Description

Compass Box is a London-based independent bottler and blender of Scotch whisky, founded in 2000 by John Glaser. Glaser, a former marketing director at Johnnie Walker and Diageo, established the company with the goal of creating innovative and high-quality blended whiskies. They focus on non-chill filtered whiskies, without added colouring, and often utilise American oak for maturation. The Lost Blend is a limited edition blended malt Scotch whisky, released in 2014 as a homage to their discontinued Eleuthera blend. It is a union of two fruity Highland single malts (Clynelish and Allt-A-Bhainne) and a peaty Islay single malt (Caol Ila), aged in American oak barrels.
