Description

Compass Box are the brilliant blending company that has brought us ''Spice Tree'', ''Peat Monster'' and "Hedonism" as part of their Signature Range. In their other series - the Limited Range - they like to produce unique releases with a bit of a twist such as "Circus"; a vatting of two blended malts, a blended grain and Benrinnes. Compass Box was founded by John Glaser and the company is known for its innovative approach to whisky blending. This particular expression, 'The Nectar 15th Anniversary Bespoke Bottling', is a blended malt Scotch whisky created for the 15th anniversary of The Nectar, a Belgian importer. It is composed of 55% Laphroaig (Recharred American Hogshead) and 45% from an unnamed Highland Distillery (Highly Toasted French Oak).
