A splendidly well-aged, limited edition 30-year-old Speyside single malt, bottled by John Crabbie & Co. This single cask release was matured in sherry butts and is presented at cask strength without chill filtration. It was released to mark the upcoming opening of the John Crabbie & Co. distillery in Leith, Edinburgh.

A symphony of oak and fruit with polished old wood, hints of raisins and cooked apples, autumn leaves, damson jam, sponge cake, orange blossom, honeysuckle, fruit cookies, fine milk chocolate, coffee ice cream and roast hazelnuts.
Palate
Big but not overpowering oak attack, hints of marmalade, dusty bookshelves, faint bonfire smoke, fruit buns, burnt raisins, apple pie, icing sugar, chocolate, dried figs, and textbook refill sherry.
Finish
Warming and very good length with cinnamon bark, malt loaf, fruit leather and cracked black pepper on a slow fade.
