Rich dried fruits, oak, delicate floral notes, vanilla, honey, baked bread, heather, with a winey character, rose petal, camphor, and a touch of paraffin.
Palate
Smooth mouthfeel with balanced malt sweetness and light spice. Flavors of dried figs, apricots, and a subtle smoky peat, complemented by nutmeg, malt, and marzipan. Some bitterness and old Chardonnay notes.
Finish
Long and warming, with lingering spice, subtle smokiness, and a sweet, caramel-like residue. Notes of burnt toast, cinnamon, brown sugar, sea spray, and gentle spices, evolving into bitterness and waxes.
