Description
Craigellachie 13 Year Old Bas-Armagnac Barrels is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, the first release in Craigellachie's Cask Collection. It is initially matured in a combination of refill and re-char ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry casks, then finished for just over a year in Bas-Armagnac casks sourced from Gascony, France. This expression showcases the distillery's robust, meaty, and sulphurous spirit, which is a result of its traditional worm tub condensers and oil-fired kilns, complemented by the fruity elegance imparted by the Bas-Armagnac finish. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and without caramel coloring.
