Description
The Craigellachie 17 Year Old is a bold and distinctive Speyside single malt, known for its robust and muscular character, which defies the typical fruity and floral profile of the region. The distillery, founded in 1891, has historically contributed to blends but gained prominence with its single malt range, including this 17-year-old expression. It is matured in a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, with a portion finished in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks to enhance complexity. This release is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46% ABV, preserving its rich character.
