Description

United Distillers started the F&F series in 1992 consisting of 26 different single malts. Originally the range did not have a name. Quite sharp and sour with rhubarb and ginger cordial, pears, strong on the barley, a hint of caramels, mineral, salty, soft vanilla and fruits, floral, light and spicy.
Palate
Sweet and creamy, with citric notes, light acidity, buttery, vanilla and honey, soft fruitiness (peach and oranges), salt, pepper and woodspices.
Finish
Medium-bodied, short, dry and grassy, hint of vanilla and spices, trace of smoke.
