Nose
Immediately, this whiskey comes off as a big sweet fruit bomb! Apricot and peach fruit leather, with some interlacing of wild flower honey. You also have some faint fresh-cut hay, slivered almonds, and sweet melon. A fair amount of dry oak and barrel spice are here, keeping the nose from becoming excessively sweet.
Palate
An abundance of stone fruit! Of course, apricot, but also caramelizing peaches and nectarines, too. Some light notes of dry hay and pink peppercorns. Once again, the oak stops the sip from being cloying.
Finish
Much more subtle than the palate. Some gentle notes of pipe tobacco, baking chocolate, green apple, and a faint cola note. Fading with notes of oak, chocolate, and vanilla extract that carried from the palate.
