Description
This single malt Irish whiskey, part of the Coillin Darach Oak Series, is finished in virgin oak casks, specifically Quercus Petraea, the Sessile Oak. It is the first of three releases and represents the national tree of Ireland. The wood for the casks was sourced from Slovenia, known for its use in Italian wine production, imparting a complex balance of spices, almond-nuttiness, and stone fruits, with a slightly sweeter characteristic. This edition embraces the unique character of native Irish oak, bringing distinctive structure and sweetness to the premium, bold, double-distilled Croithlí spirit.
