Description

The barley used was harvested from the farm's South fields in the last week of August 2006. This optic barley was then stored on the farm until it was malted in Alloa in the summer of 2007. This release was reserved for the constituent establishments in the Independent Whisky Bars of Scotland group, and was not available for general retail. A farm distillery owned and run by the Cuthbert family.

Buttery with strong cereal notes, grassy hay, malted barley, golden syrup flapjacks, vanilla danish pastries, hints of apple and pear fruits, sweet and layered with honey, cinnamon, ginger, slight citrus, and linseed oil.
Palate
Thick and oily, buttery, cereal barley, sweet light honey, creamed coconut, light fruit notes, honey and cinnamon granola, malt, vanilla, orange oil, medium to oily mouthfeel.
Finish
Medium-short, more butter, soft cereal, vanilla, fruit, long and spicy on cinnamon toast, woodier with drying sawdust and tannins with water.
