Nose
Typical Daftmill shortbread and vanilla with rich Christmas cake notes from sherry casks; bright and precise with ripe pear, yellow apple, lemon oil, vanilla fudge, soft honey, raisins, dried apricot, and a lightly nutty accent.
Palate
Mouth-coating texture with barley sugar, orchard fruits, vanilla, malty biscuits, creamy vanilla, light toffee, dried fruit, almond, cocoa, and gentle spice from ginger and white pepper.
Finish
Spicy, sweet, and lingering, with medium to long notes of fruit, vanilla, a soft, lightly drying wood structure, citrus zest, a touch of nuttiness, and a subtle sherried note.
