Nose
Fruity notes of apple and berries, with vanilla and a subtle, delicate smoke. Hints of candy floss, copper, apfelstrudel with clotted cream and charred oak.
Palate
Malty-nutty with creamy sweetness, toasted oak, light saline notes, and a good bit of delicate wood smoke. Accompanied by spicy peat smoke, wood aromas, and fruity sherry. Hints of barbecued beef, caramelised nuts, teak wood, milk chocolate, mint, ginger root, and jammy apricots.
Finish
Medium to long, dry with persistent spice and a subtle smoky note. Quite herbaceous, lots of dark caramel notes and warming spices. Slightly funky.
