Nose
Aromatic nutmeg, orchard fruit, and a subtle hint of toasted barley smokiness. Notes of fresh Galia melon, ripe apricot, orange marmalade, and citrus zest are present, alongside sweet brown sugar, caramel, and stewed stone fruits like cherry and apple.
Palate
Crème brûlée, poached pears, and heather honey with a spicy kick of pepper. The palate is zesty and bright with notes of lemon, ripe pears, and white grape juice. It offers a medium-bodied, syrupy and waxy mouthfeel with caramel, dark brown sugar, apple pie, cinnamon, raisins, and stewed fruits.
Finish
A medium to long finish with garden herbs, citrus peels, and meadow flowers. It presents nutty and slightly tannic notes, balanced by sweetness, stewed fruits, and sugary delights.
