Nose
The nose is of good body and well-balanced. There are fruity notes of Poire William and Barlett Pear. Hints of white peach with nectarine and cut straw with a touch of malted barley. A little espresso hangs somewhere in the mix.
Palate
The palate is full and quite rich. There are notes of nectarine and buttery vanilla fudge, hints of exotic fruit salad emerge with a touch of wood smoke.
Finish
The oak is tannic with developing dryness. The finish is of good length with a touch of pepper.
