Nose
Fragrant with vanilla, malty grain, intense fruitiness (pears, apples, pineapple, mango), straw bale, cocoa, heather honey, and lemon zest. Notes of cereal, malty barley, porridge oats, wheat, and a gristy, floury character, with aromas of honey and orchard fruit.
Palate
Rich and fruity with maltiness, vanilla, and a spicy element (nutmeg, cinnamon). Buttery, malty with dry oaky spice, heather/violet floral notes, lemon, banana, coconut, grass, straw, and honey sweetness. Smooth with barley sweetness, tannic oak, and hints of zesty lemon and mandarin with honeyed oats.
Finish
Fairly long, very refreshing, smooth, and tart. Long-lasting with white pepper/chilli spice, soothing vanillin notes, sugared barley, malt, and delicate sweetness with hints of dried fruit.
