Description

The Dalmore 12 Year Old is an outstanding Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, recognized for its character beyond its age. It undergoes a dual maturation process, initially spending nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then a proportion is finessed for three years in rare and aged Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks. This process creates a rich, complex, and well-balanced flavor profile with notes of marmalade, dark chocolate, and espresso. The distillery, located in Alness on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, has been producing whisky since 1839 and is known for its iconic royal stag's antlers on each bottle, referencing the Mackenzie clan crest.
