Description

The Dalmore Castle Leod is a limited edition single malt whisky, the second in a series crafted by Master Distiller Richard Paterson in homage to the Clan Mackenzie and their ancestral seat, Castle Leod. Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2011, this 16-year-old expression was created to support the restoration of the historic castle. It was initially matured in American white oak and Spanish sherry wood casks, followed by an 18-month finishing period in barriques from a renowned Bordeaux Château. Only 5,000 bottles were produced worldwide.
