Description
Dalmore distillery was used as a deep-sea mine production centre by the Royal Navy between 1917 and 1920. After the navy departed, the distillery was left in tatters, and - after a long compensation battle involving the House of Lords - the distillery was brought back online in 1922. Now Dalmore, under the stewardship of Richard Paterson, (Whyte & Mackay) presents itself as a luxury brand. The Dalmore Portfolio Series showcases the work of rising talents within art & design and celebrates the Dalmore's partnership with the V&A museum in Dundee. This exclusive edition was created in collaboration with the V&A Museum in Dundee and showcases a specially commissioned artwork by rising Edinburgh artist Fraser Gray.
