Description

Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1999. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. As of 2002, Signatory Vintage Whisky company is also the owner of the Edradour distillery. This Deanston was matured in a single first-fill sherry butt for a decade, distilled in August 2008 and bottled in February 2019 for Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection. Only 599 bottles were produced.

Fresh brioche, caramelised brown sugar and a good handful of fresh fruit. Dark vanilla & honey, bright red berries, dark brown simple, light cocoa.
Palate
Raspberry tart, orange peel and buttered malt loaf. Extremely hot, intense sweet honey, bright red fruits, hints of citrus, candied ginger.
Finish
Clove and dried herbs alongside dried fruit sweetness. Lingering heat, rich sweet honey, red berries.
