Description

A Highland malt distillery that is currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of the Distell Group. It is housed within a former mill that was built in 1785, and was converted into a distillery by blending firm, Brodie Hepburn, between 1965 and 1966. The distillery released its first single malt under the Deanston name in 1974. This 8-year-old bottling is from the 1980s, a decade during which the distillery was mothballed for much of the time.
