This Highland single-malt whisky from Deanston is an experimental, limited-edition release, matured for 13 years in traditional oak hogsheads and finished for an additional 2 years in hand-selected tequila casks from the Jaliscan Highlands, Mexico. Bottled at 52.5% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and has no added color, retaining its natural character. Deanston is known for its unpeated, locally sourced barley, contributing to its uniquely waxy and citrus character.
