Dettling Cask Strength Bourbon is a barrel-proof, single barrel bourbon from Big Escambia Spirits in Atmore, Alabama. It is aged for at least four years in new American Oak #3 char barrels. The distillery prides itself on a 'field to bottle' approach, growing most of its grains locally. This particular release is bottled at 54.1% ABV (108.2 Proof) and is non-chill filtered. The extreme Alabama climate contributes to its rich color and robust character despite its relatively young age.
