Port influence is very apparent... maple syrup sweetness with some candy ginger... rich red berries, cranberries, strawberries.
Palate
Lots more of the spice, deep marmalade spiciness, red wine tannins, cocoas, and dark chocolate notes.

Lively with an increasing sweetness. Ginger spice and honeyed dates come to fore.
