A lovely rich nose of custard, blackberry, bread and butter pudding, dark-roasted coffee bean, and allspice, with light tropical notes, dried mango, apricots and stewed orchard fruits, toasted almonds, mocha coffee and banana bread.
Palate
Generous and sweetly spiced, with apple cider, caramel, lemon sherbet notes, creamy stewed dark fruits, a touch of liquorice, pepper, mahogany, darker stone fruits, sultanas, and figs.
Finish
Complex hints of vanilla, salted toffee, medium dryness and light hints of nutmeg and clove.
