Description

A historic Kentucky distillery and the oldest still operating in the state. It is the flagship production facility of the Sazerac Company and in addition to its eponymous straight bourbon, also produces a host of brands such as Pappy Van Winkle, Col. E.H. Taylor, Eagle Rare, Weller and Sazerac Rye. A well-respected bourbon brand produced at Buffalo Trace distillery by the Sazerac Company. Eagle Rare 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon is masterfully crafted and carefully aged for no less than ten years. Every barrel is discriminately selected to offer consistent flavor but with a seemingly individual personality.

Complex aromas of toffee, hints of orange peel, herbs, honey, leather, and oak. Sweet flavors of nougat, honeycomb, aromatic oak, graham cracker crust, and toasted marshmallow.
Palate
Bold, dry, and delicate with notes of candied almonds and very rich cocoa. Sweet and lively, delivering orange peel, baking spice, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, and oak tannin.
Finish
Dry and lingering. Oak and baking spices linger for quite a long time. Notes of vanilla, honey, bubble gum, toffee, and subtle leather.
