Description
This French blended whisky is produced by Distillerie des Menhirs in Plomelin, Brittany. It is known for its innovative use of local ingredients, including buckwheat, which gives the brand its name (Eddu means buckwheat in Breton). The composition is a blend of 70% barley whisky and 30% buckwheat whisky, with both grains sourced from Brittany. It is aged in ex-Cognac barrels (French oak casks). The Eddu Grey Rock was officially released in 2003.
