Description

The Eden Mill Single Malt 2018 Release is the first in an annual series, distilled with a mix of propino and golden promise barley strains. It was matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry hogsheads, first-fill Bourbon barrels, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This limited release of 3,200 bottles was bottled at 46.5% ABV and is non-chillfiltered with natural color.

Delicate on the nose, with a light, straw-like character alongside a soft, vanilla / candied barley-sugar sweetness and a hint of hazelnut.
Palate
Sweet and juicy, with notes of peach and plum. Sherry influence is most noticeable here, with a light, fruitcake character along with sweet, oaky-vanilla.
Finish
Remains light, with a candied sweetness, yet bringing in a delicate spice and hints of dried plum / raisin.
