- Nose
- Big old sherry bomb, balsamic vinegar, treacle, golden syrup, new leather, cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, apple, walnut, polished oak furniture, raisins, sultanas, prunes, subtle sulphury note, warm spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, cayenne).
- Palate
- Lovely texture, chewy, intense sherry character, charred oak, slightly burnt honey glazed ham, raisins, dried fruits, tobacco, touch of raspberry and cherry, chocolate raisins, baking spice, festive biscuits with caramelised nuts, oily, malty oak.
- Finish
- Wee bit of slightly smoky pepper, little dryness, sherry lingers, warming peppery spice, vanilla, dark cocoa, lingering notes of cinnamon and dried fruits.
