Nose
Intense peat smoke and ripe fruit aromas in wonderful harmony; sweet, charred, fruity, peated, industrial, dirty. Roasted pork by the embers soaked in soy sauce; unapologetically intense, surprisingly clean, and aggressively sweet berry jam; planky sawdust. Ballechin's funkiness with gasoline, dirty soil, and industrial minerality. Hints of salty, buttery, and metallic notes.
Palate
Mouth-filling and strong in taste. Red fruits mixed with bonfire smoke. Plums and spicy notes, oak wood, juicy raisins and roasted and salted pistachios. Wet, one-dimensional wood, BBQ sauce, engine oil, damp forestry, earthy peat, industrial funk with a metallic edge, hints of licorice, burnt rubber, and chemical notes.
Finish
Long with lots of peat and spicy wood. Charred, carbonized oak. More red fruits, more dirty peat, more ash. Intense, fresh, ashy, and ember-y. Sweet fruits recede a bit.
